Focusing on the Burgh

Hey there! I'm Edward, a native yinzer, born and raised in the south hills of Pittsburgh! While my lens is usually pointed toward hockey players, you can also find me at any number of "Pittsburgh" locations, capturing the city that we all know and love from every angle imaginable! Take a look around, shoot me a message, or get to know me more!

Despite my love of photography, my full-time job is as a structural engineer. This involves a lot of designing of buildings and other systems, such as bridges and platforms. Naturally, I've developed an interest in capturing the very projects I work on when completed so I can look back on them and say "Wow, I did that!"

If you are an architect, engineer, or contractor and would like your projects showcased for your clients to see, check out my architecture work here, If you like what you see, contact me to discuss a shoot!

One of the emerging parts of my photography journey has been portrait work! I have come to love capturing what makes this city the best: its people! Whether it's an engagement, a marriage, the celebration of a new baby, or even just a couple wanting to show off their new puppy, I want to capture those memories!

What is the best way to unwind after a long day or week at work? Enjoy the great outdoors! I love to capture those breathtaking views and moments that we all like to admire. Anything that makes us think, "Wow, nature sure can be wonderful!"

One of the greatest things I enjoy shooting is sports! I started off shooting soccer for Florida State, then branched out into other sports here in Pittsburgh, before mainly settling on photojournalistic coverage of high school and college hockey for Pittsburgh Hockey Digest. Check us out at for your only source of amateur hockey coverage in Western Pennsylvania!
